Big Jones Dining Deals Chicago Review

chicago big jones deals reviews

Big Jones Dining Deals – Big Jones is one of the famous eateries in Chicago. It offers Coastal Southern cuisine in a bright, minimalist space for visitors. The Southern menu at Big Jones not just includes fresh foods like shrimps and grits but also many ancient cuisines inspired by cookbooks.

In lunch Jones offers Fried Chicken, which is one of the most famous offerings of Big Jones. Fried Chicken is fried in leaf fat and clarified butter and cornmeal dredge. Chicken is served with greens and butter beans. Before ordering make sure you can wait for 30 minutes, this recipe takes time, but I believe it’s worth to wait for that much.

Several reviewers at Yelp also voted Fried Chicken as their favorite meal at Big Jones. Another reviewer says Big Jones is my favorite restaurant in Chicago, an authentic coastal southern food with some of the best cocktails. I take all my friends who are visiting here, and no one has left unhappy.

Apart from Fried Chicken at Big Jones Shrimps and Grits, Farmhouse Chicken and Fried
Chicken Sandwich are among some of the favorites for diners.

Dinner at Big Jones is served from 5 pm. There are plenty of choices available at Dinner ranging from Catfish, Ham, Beans to the delicious Shrimp Burger. If you are health conscious, Big Jones is the place to be. They only use whole animals for all their recipes. Adler After Dark: A Night at The Planetarium

Adler Dark Planetarium

If the planetarium sounds fun but kids don’t, the Adler After Dark event series might be exactly what you’re looking for. Every third Thursday of the month the Adler Planetarium throws a 21+ Adler After Dark event from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Each month has a new theme and activities that help you explore space with an adult Chicago crowd. What other day of the month can you tour the planetarium with a few adult beverages in hand? Tickets are $15 when you purchase in advance and $20 at the door.

Truly Chicago attended the February “Star Crossed” Adler After Dark event and we had a blast. Between the live music, beverages and unique activities there wasn’t a dull moment. We helped with liquid nitrogen experiments, played in the photo booth, traveled the universe in the Grainger Sky Theater and even pretended to walk on the moon. As long as you’re over 21+ you can join in on the fun too. Grab a date or some friends and plan your visit to the Adler at one of the next upcoming Adler After Dark events.
